You Want To Follow Christ? You Better Count The Cost, Because It Will Cost You Everything

Error and Heresy Appeases and Entices the Tares In the Churches

Error is bound to be much more popular than truth to the unregenerate; therefore, to make the truth in any way acceptable to them it has to be watered down, wrested and perverted. And there are always those who, for the sake of filthy lucre, are ready to perjure their souls.
Hence heretical sects and systems abound on every side. ‘What delusions are cherished about the character of God! ‘What erroneous ideas are entertained about His way of salvation! ‘What false opinions are held of man’s dignity, greatness, free will, even by many who call themselves Christians! Because of the unbelief, selfishness and impiety of men’s hearts, the false prophets, who speak smooth and flattering things, are assured of a ready hearing.

A religion which is all excitement, and has little instruction in it

A religion which is all excitement, and has little instruction in it, may serve for transient use; but for permanent life-purposes there must be a knowledge of those great doctrines which are fundamental to the gospel system. I tremble when I hear of a man’s giving up, one by one, the vital principles of the gospel and boasting of his liberality.
The spirit of the Broad School robs us of everything like certainty. I should like to ask some great men of that order whether they believe that anything is taught in the Scriptures which it would be worth while for a person to die for, and whether the martyrs were not great fools for laying down their lives for mere opinions which might be right or might be wrong?
This broad-churchism is a breaking down of stone walls, and it will let in the devil and all his crew, and do infinite harm to the church of God, if it be not stopped. A loose state of belief does great damage to any man’s mind.
Lately we have seen few men with backbone; the most have been of the jelly-fish order. I have lived in times in which I should have said, “Be liberal, and shake off all narrowness ; but now I am obliged to alter my tone and cry, “Be steadfast in the truth.”
The faith once delivered to the saints is now all the more attractive to me, because it is called narrow, for I am weary of that breadth which comes of broken hedges. There are fixed points of truth, and definite certainties of creed, and woe to you if you allow these stone walls to crumble down.

Bill Johnson's Daughter-in-Law Blasphemes the HOLY Spirit

Blaspheming God.

"Building the Machine": what Common Core Curriculum is about

"It'll be a country where nobody is brilliant."

Bethel, Bethel, and Bethel: Ancient and Current Idolatry

1Ki 12:28  So the king consulted, and made two golden calves, and he said to them, "It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem; behold your gods, O Israel, that brought you up from the land of Egypt."
1Ki 12:29  He set one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.
1Ki 12:30  Now this thing became a sin, for the people went to worship before the one as far as Dan.
1Ki 12:31  And he made houses on high places, and made priests from among all the people who were not of the sons of Levi.
1Ki 12:32  Jeroboam instituted a feast in the eighth month on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast which is in Judah, and he went up to the altar; thus he did in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves which he had made. And he stationed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.
1Ki 12:33  Then he went up to the altar which he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised in his own heart; and he instituted a feast for the sons of Israel and went up to the altar to burn incense.

After reading that chapter this morning it hit me: there are a few Bethels today who follow in their footsteps.

So it seems today that both  Bethel Church in CA and Bethel University in MN are appropriately named “Bethel”. They are indulging in the golden calf idolatry of ancient Bethel, seeking after gods, borrowing pagan practices out of pragmatism and mysticism. By telling people their gods are the ones that “brought them up out of Egypt” ( the sole claim and repeated one at that by the thrice Holy Triune God of Scripture), they are blaspheming God.

Bethel Church in Redding CA which is a NAR church headed up by heretic Bill Johnson.

Bethel University in MN is inter-faith and Emergent/mystic:

Womenpastors - in clear violation of 1 Timothy, Titus 1-2, and 1Cor. 14.

They are also heavily into psychology even in their Religious Department - psychology is the world's philosophy that Christians are told to reject. In addition psychology is at its heart, anti-Christ and anti-Scripture. In fact, some of the founding fathers of psychology involved in the occult, as Martin and Deidre Bobgan discuss (first on page 42) in their book, "The End of Christianity Psychology".

The point of all of this is that I find it ironic that two very infamous liberal and heretical institutes follow in their namesake's idolatrous footsteps.

World Vision (Worldly Vision) Backs Off of Sodomite Hiring But the Problem Is Still There

Well it seems the money was too much to lose for Worldly Vision to hold up their unbiblical and quite hostile view of sodomy vs. biblical Christians to publicly hold on to for now.

"The last couple of days have been painful," president Richard Stearns told reporters this evening. "We feel pain and a broken heart for the confusion we caused for many friends who saw this policy change as a strong reversal of World Vision's commitment to biblical authority, which it was not intended to be."

"We did inadequate consultation with our supporters. If I could have a do-over on one thing, I would have done much more consultation with Christian leaders."

"We need to have a process to do further and wider consultation with key Christian leaders around the country, and we will be discussing how that can happen," he said.

~"Christianity" Today magazine

"At a recent gathering in Los Angeles, Stearns privileged the work he and others do around poverty issues and criticized Christians who he sees as preoccupied by work focused on the meaning and purpose of marriage. “No one ever died of gay marriage,” he argued".

 - Religion and Politics, June 25,2013

Stearns expects the board to continue to deal with questions about employment and same-sex relationships. "I think every Christian organization will continue to deal with this sensitive issue," he said. "The board will continue to talk about this issue for many board meetings to come. ... The original decision was overwhelmingly ratified by the board, and the decision to reverse the policy today after a lot of deep reflection, a lot of listening to supporters … was also overwhelmingly supported today."

End quote.

Sensitive issue? There's nothing sensitive nor blurry about sodomy.

It's only "sensitive" (read: complicated) and blurry when you deny the sole authority of Scripture to dictate all your thinking and decisions and instead turn to the world and then try to ride the fence. There's absolutely nothing sensitive, complicated, nor gray about sodomy.

So this reversal no doubt was not for the sake of the Truth, but purely for MONEY. We saw what is in their hearts and on their agenda. They will do it in time. Of that I'm absolutely sure. Why? Because it's their unbelief in Scripture and their secular worldview. Their backpedaling isn't impressive nor is it repentant. Stearns' hostility against biblical Christians has been the same for a while, as revealed in a CT article last June.

Gwyneth Paltrow And the Audacity of Committment

On Tuesday evening, Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Chris Martin made the shock announcement they were splitting up. The couple, who have been married for ten years and have two children together, decided to reveal their separation on Gwyneth's lifestyle website Goop, in a post they had titled 'Conscious Uncoupling'....

[I]n the hours that followed, Gwyneth shared a second post on her website, titled Dr. Habib Sadeghi & Dr. Sherry Sami on Conscious Uncoupling....

Conscious Uncoupling, the name Gwyneth and Chris chose to give to their marital separation announcement, begins by saying that to change the concept of divorce "we need to release the belief structures we have around marriage that create rigidity in our thought process".

"The belief structure is the all-or-nothing idea that when we marry, it's for life. The truth is, the only thing any of us have is today. Beyond that, there are no guarantees. The idea of being married to one person for life is too much pressure for anyone," it reads.

End quote.

~Hello Magazine

Yes, like everything else that God has clearly designated as either right or wrong, now the world wants to remove the sting and ugliness of divorce by renaming it. However, changing the name won't change the reality that it is the ripping apart of two people who are in union spiritually as well as physically.

By trying to redefine something so heinous as divorce (as well as sodomy), the world and its celebrities try to justify their sin and selfishness.

Poor babies to be unable to be committed for life to one person of the opposite sex. But oh, the commitment (idolatry) to one's self!

Mat 19:4  And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE,
Mat 19:6  "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Mat 19:7  They *said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY?"
Mat 19:8  He *said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way.

Mat 19:9  "And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery."

Isa 5:20  Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! 21  Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!

Franklin Graham Demonstrates the "Christian" Myth of Neutrality

There has been huge pressure on the chaplains in our military – and our chaplains have been a wonderful thing for the military. But there is a move to get rid of the chaplains in our country, and to completely secularize our military. Actually, they are hostile to Christians....

A lot of this is coming from this administration and is being pushed by people within the White House,” said Graham.  “And when I say White House, I’m not saying the president, because I’m not sure how much of this he’s aware of.  But it’s people that work for him that have power, that are sitting in offices, and they are hostile to Christ.”
~Franklin Graham with CNS News

"Some"? He's also not including Obama!
How about just about "all" those in the administration, dare I say just about all in Washington DC?

This is the problem in "Christianity" today: the Christian myth that people are neutral toward God. On the contrary, Scripture boldly proclaims all men are born sinners, hostile toward God. You better believe Obama is anti-Christ, as are all outside of Jesus Christ. Some are just more bold about it than others.
Rom 8:7 because the mind set on the flesh is HOSTILE toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so,
Eph 2:1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
Eph 2:2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience
Eph 2:3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were BY NATURE children of wrath, even as the rest.

Thoughts on the "Son of god" and "Noah" Movies and Why There's a Disconnect Between the Two By "Christians"

So let me get this straight: the "Son of god" movie is made by Christ-hating New Ager/Catholics and "Christians" think its good; an atheist makes a movie about Noah and "Christians" condemn it? Are not both attacking Scripture? Are not both scoffing at God? Are not both made by those who hate Christ? Yes, they are indeed.

As I think about it, it seems that politics  is the religion of most "Christians" and therefore that is why so many are against the "Noah" movie (PC, pro-environmentalism). Had biblical Christianity been their religion, they would be just as equally,if not MORE, irate with the "Son of god" movie  because of its attacks on Scripture and the Person and work of the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes the world makes caricatures of Jesus Christ and Noah, but then so do most "Christians" in the West today.

The Unthinkable Is Now The Thinkable

The same-sex controversy is, at its core, a controversy over the authority and interpretation of the Bible. Throughout the history of the church, and revealed in the historical understanding of Scripture, homosexuality has been seen as contrary to the morality set forth in the pages of the Bible....

This push is evidence of a tragic cultural transformation that has occurred in recent decades - one that pertains to the ethical, to the moral, and to that which is right and wrong. Yesterday's outrage has become today's standard. Today, homosexuality, which at one time was morally unthinkable, is on parade before us as normal, acceptable, and - in order to show its authoritative status - unquestionable. Francis Schaeffer wrote,
There is a "thinkable" and an "unthinkable" in every era. One era is quite certain intellectually and emotionally about what is acceptable. Yet another era decides that these "certainties" are unacceptable and puts another set of values into practice. On a humanistic base, people drift along from generation to generation, and the morally unthinkable becomes the thinkable as the years move on. Schaeffer, writing in the 1970s, perceptively continued, The thinkables of the eighties and nineties will certainly include, things which most people today find unthinkable and immoral, even unimaginable and too extreme to suggest. Yet - since they do not have some overriding principle that takes them beyond relativistic thinking - when these become thinkable and acceptable in the eighties and nineties, most people will not even remember that they were unthinkable in the seventies. They will slide into each flew thinkable without a jolt.
Schaeffer was not arguing that something is worthy of emulation simply because it was previously done. By itself, Dad and Mom's conduct, while often qualitatively better and more polite than that of their children observed at the local mall, is not an adequate standard for morality. In fact, the point is that the basis of yesterday's morality was of such poor quality that it could not prevent its "unthinkables" from becoming "thinkables" in short order. One of yesterday's unthinkables - the social and moral acceptance of homosexuality in both orientation and act, in both desire and deed - is presented to us today as quite thinkable, and though we are speaking of morality and not the changing tide of fashion, our modern society can seldom tell the difference.

Beth Moore Is Right

"One of the things Beth Moore would go on to tell us is: “Unity will be called defection."

~Apprising Ministries

That's actually something true Beth Moore said. It's true because their unity is based on compromise, and frankly, hatred of the Truth.

True biblical unity is based on biblical Truth, grounded in the God of Truth.

Beth Moore wants unity with those who deny the only way of Salvation, who deny the absolute sovereignty of God, who deny the absolute and sole authority of Scripture.

To unify with the enemies of the Cross is to defect from Christ Jesus. It is apostasy.

Good for Indiana!!

Indiana has become the first of 45 states to opt out of the national education standard known as Common Core, and critics of the controversial K-12 program say the move could "open the floodgates" for others to follow.
Growing criticism over costs imposed by the program, as well as fears that by setting a national education standard, the program has already begun dictating curriculum, has made Common Core an increasingly polarizing issue. Although the program has both Republican and Democrat supporters, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence predicted his state will be the first of many to rethink participation.
"I believe when we reach the end of this process there are going to be many other states around the country that will take a hard look at the way Indiana has taken a step back, designed our own standards and done it in a way where we drew on educators, we drew on citizens, we drew on parents and developed standards that meet the needs of our people," Pence said.

You Cannot Be A True Disciple of Jesus Christ And Watch the Noah Movie

"Noah's director Darren Aronofsky, a self-described atheist who made the Oscar-nominated hit The Black Swan, has described the movie as is "the least biblical biblical film ever made" and called Noah "the first environmentalist". According to one early review, the name "God" is not actually spoken at any stage."

~The Telegraph

This is as old as time itself: to sit mocking at Scripture, God's Word, and thus mock and scoff at Him. It is to attack His authority, not just His word. But know this: it is also to continue to incur His judgement upon you unless you repent, for His is just and righteous and will not be mocked.

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?"

If you are truly a Christian, you are remaining and living in the Scriptures and thus prove yourself to be a true disciple of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore you won't be sitting in the seat of scoffers, literally, and mock the truth about the event of Noah and the Flood. Instead, you will stay away from this vulgar, disrespectful movie instead of giving the atheist mocker money to line his ungodly pockets. Moreover, you value God and His Word as precious and have loyalty with God alone.

Psa 1:1  How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! 2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

Question: would Aronosfky be willing to do the same to a story from the quran? I'm thinking not, as that would cause a world-wide deadly protest, not to mention a fawtwa on his own head.

No, just slam Christians and the Scriptures and the God of Scriptures and make money.

Sad indeed.

Abide": 102 times uses in the NT, 61% of which was used by the apostle John.
A primary verb; to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy): - abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), X thine own.

We are to abide/stay/remain/dwell/endure in: the Word, the Truth, in Christ, in His love. God also is said to abide/stay/remain/dwell/endure in us.
If one does not remain or stay in the Scriptures, he is NOT a true disciple. Many false disciples were flocking to Jesus when He did miracles and fed their stomachs for free, but the moment He taught about their sin and the exclusivicity of Himself as the sole ways and means of salvation, they left Him in a final way--they abandoned Christ Jesus "never to walk with Him again". That was the 5,000 + that He had just fed! The road is NARROW and FEW that find it.
Joh 8:31  So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32  and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

UCSB Feminist Studies Professor Charged With Criminal Battery for Assaulting 16 Year Old Pro-Life Student In Free Speech Area

The University of California-Santa Barbara professor who allegedly assaulted a pro-life student on campus has been charged with criminal battery.
The College Fix reported on March 12 that department of feminist studies professor Mireille Miller-Young, whose research emphasis is black studies, pornography, and sex work, had been caught on camera assaulting a 16-year-old student, Thrin Short.
Miller-Young led a small mob that approached a group of pro-life demonstrators who were holding signs. The mob chanted “tear down the sign.” Miller-Young then grabbed one of the signs and stormed off with it, eventually engaging in a physical altercation with 16-year-old Short, one of the pro-life demonstrators, when Short tried to retrieve the stolen sign.
The confrontation took place in the university’s designated “free speech area.”

What Kind of Heaven?

There should be a book that debunks all these trips to "heaven" and they should title it: Jesus Can Wait: the folly of a man-centered heaven.

Attacking Scripture and Its Author

Attack Scripture and its Author from without (movies) and from within ("Christians" who defend such blasphemous movies).
Yes, we're getting closer to the return of Jesus Christ the Judge and Executioner (I mention this because so many "Christians" are having a love affair with an effeminate, unholy, man-centered, impotent "Jesus" who himself is in love with them.

The Jesus of Scripture is thrice holy and is returning in holy angry and retribution and holiness. HE isn't the "Jesus" of the "Passion" or "Son of god" movies.

Rev 2:16  'Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth.

Rev 19:11  And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.
Rev 19:12  His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.
Rev 19:13  He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14  And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.
Rev 19:15  From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.
Rev 19:16  And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Safety In God

"As the mountains surround Jerusalem--so the Lord surrounds His people both now and forevermore!" Psalm 125:2

God, to the humble heart that leans on Him, is like the mountains which surround Jerusalem. In the mountain there is safety.

In this dangerous world, I am . . .
pursued and hunted by principalities and powers,
in peril of traps and snares and temptations,
unable to secure my deliverance.
But God in Jesus Christ, becomes . . .
my Refuge,
my Rock,
my Fortress,
my Shield,
my Deliverer,
and my Strength!
I flee to Him, and I am in a secure dwelling--there is no evil which can befall me now. When I hide myself in the Rock of Ages cleft for me--who can separate me from the love of Christ? That Rock Himself would have to crumble, before any harm could come to my soul! I am so weak in itself--yet so strong in its Savior.

In the mountain there is assurance. I feel that the ground is solid and stable underneath my feet. My sorrow and sighing should flee away. My fears should be scattered. The Father and the Son and the Spirit are eternally mine! From all forebodings and anxieties, my Lord means me to be set free.

In the mountain there is everlastingness. My soul is wise when it builds its life-house on the Rock of . . .
God's promises,
God's grace,
God's salvation!
The storm will never be able to blow it down.
The gates of Hell will never prevail against it.
Through the countless and varied changes of my lot--through death and through the long eternity that lies beyond--it will endure, incorruptible, immovable, abiding!

"I lift up my eyes to the mountains--where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and earth! He will not let your foot slip--He who watches over you will not slumber. The Lord watches over you--the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm--He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore!" Psalm 121

AW Pink on Visions and Dreams

“There is real need to labor this point, for not a few highly strung people and those with vivid imaginations have been deceived thereon, supposing that strange dreams, extraordinary visions, abnormal sights and sounds, are the means or manner in which the Holy Spirit is made manifest to the soul. Those who look for any such experience are far more liable to be deluded by Satan than enlightened by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit supplies no new and different revelation today from that which He has already made in the written Word.”

Giving O'Doul's to 5th Graders: is this the socialization homeschooled kids need?

Perhaps homeschooled children should have socialization like this...

LINDEN, MI -- Fifth-grade students were given non-alcoholic beer in a Linden classroom during a lesson on colonial times, district Superintendent Ed Koledo said.

How many "mistakes" by "responsible" teachers are parents going to tolerate before they wake up to the fact that their brainwashed children are exposed to corruption and irresponsibility like this before it's too late?

If this incident was by a "responsible" teacher, I can only imagine what the actions of the irresponsible ones are like!

News flash: this proves the teacher isn't responsible nor mature. Such teachers are the problem. So are the principles and superintendents that give them excuses.

The Holy Scriptures

"To realize that the Holy Scriptures are a revelation from the Most High, communicating to us His mind and defining for us His will, is the first step toward practical godliness. To recognize that the Bible is God's Word, and that its precepts are the precepts of the Almighty, will lead us to see what an awful thing it is to despise and ignore them."

CBS Days Behind Breitbart On Reporting Al-Qaeda's Call for Car B ombs

In a world of instant news, CBS is eons behind Breitbart on this one. Likely because they didn't consider it of any importance. Until now.

CBS is LATE on this one, reporting it on March 19. It's OLD news CBS:

"NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The latest edition of al Qaeda‘s English-language online magazine urges its readers to attack the United States with car bombs and includes a photo of Times Square."

Breitbart reported this on March 15:

"The latest issue of Al-Qaeda's Inspire magazine contains an article about using car bombs in U.S. cities as well as abroad during election seasons, both presidential and congressional, as well as on Christmas and New Years Eve. "

Condom Giveaway: Is this the "socialization" everyone worries about for homeschooled children?

CHICAGO (CBS) – Mayor Rahm Emanuel defended a plan to make free condoms available at 24 high schools starting next school year, expanding an effort to reduce teen pregnancy and prevent the spread of sexually-transmitted diseases among youths.
“I want everybody to understand that doesn’t mean you’re absolved either as a parent or an adult to talk to an adolescent about responsible behavior, respecting who you’re with, and doing what’s right not what’s convenient,” the mayor said.
Is this the "socialization" everyone worries about for homeschooled children?
How can the mayor undermine the parents and then say the parents aren't absolved of their responsibility? If the government is going to be their nanny, that necessitates the removal of the parent's role and responsibility.
This isn't a shared custody between government and parent.
By the way, this is exactly how Planned Parenthood gets their clients; by pushing sexual promiscuity and use of condoms. That is why they HATE abstinence programs.
And since when are teens responsible? Responsibility would mean they wait for marriage to have sex.

Testing False Teacher: don't ask what they affirm, see if they demonstrate submission to Christ

"But the supreme and unthinkable heresy is to say no to His sovereign lordship. This is the matter at hand. Here are people who probably won't deny the deity of Christ, who probably won't deny His atonement outwardly, even though they may deny it inwardly, who probably won't take a position against the virgin birth and the bodily resurrection, who may not deny the Second Coming, may even preach it. They may name Christ, claim Christ, serve in His name, preach His name, cast out demons in His name, do many wonderful works in His name, but they say no to His...what? His lordship. What does that mean? That means they will not submit their lives to His rule.

The issue here, beloved, is primarily not theologically, it is ethical. It is not their theology that unmasks them, it is their morality that unmasks them. You understand that? It is not their theology that...that is covert. It is their morality that unmasks them."

Now the idea, people, is this is very crucial. When you are identifying a false teacher sometimes you can't tell by their theology, you have to look past that to their morality. And you are not asking what they affirm, for they may affirm that Christ has bought them. You their lives demonstrate submission to the sovereign Lord?

Listen, they attract people, they attract people with their talk about Christ and their talk about belonging to Christ, but they don't want to submit to sovereign lordship. They want freedom to live the way they want to live. They want liberty to live the way they want to live. They don't want anybody impinging on their conduct. And so many people are led astray into a kind of Christianity that knows nothing about submission to the sovereign Lord. That's exactly what you have in Matthew chapter 7, exactly. "Not everyone who says to me `Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who...what?...does the will of My Father."

~ John MacArthur, A Portrait of False Teachers Part 2

This is calls for the spiritual gift of discernment by knowledge and faith in the Scriptures to be able to know the difference between right and almost right.

Associated Press Steps Up Attack on White House Lack of Transparency

The Associated Press has stepped up its attack on White House efforts to block coverage of events involving President Obama, warning that once access is cut, “we'll never get it back.”
In the latest media charge that the White House has reneged on promises to be “transparent,” two of AP's White House staff told a convention in Denver this week that the president's team often bars coverage of Obama events because they are “hypersensitive” about his image.

The Great Exchange

In the Great Exchange on the Cross--Christ in my stead---I was no bargain for God.

I was everything against Him in my sin, in my rebellion, in my disobedience, in my lack of loving Him with all my heart, mind, soul and strength; in every way possible.

There was nothing in me to recommend me to Him. A vile sinner, He chose this to be His child.

That is love, grace, and mercy.

20 Year Old National Guard Private Converts To Islam, Gets Arrested

This is the target group that Islam is looking for; ignorant Americans who think it's cute and edgy to convert to Islam because it seems so rebellious.

Neither his parents nor his girlfriend knew his plans, he told the informant. His girlfriend would turn him in if she found out. He also expressed a willingness to kill his mother if she tried to stop him.
"I love her," he said, "but she's still a kufar [infidel or non-believer]."
He converted to Islam about two years ago. "I promote Jihad, Not terrorism," he wrote on a personal blog Jan. 8, "and yes there is a difference." But he also read al-Qaida's Inspire magazine and investigated ways to carry out some of the ideas it suggested.
"I despise america and want its down fall but yeah haha. Lol," he wrote last May.
Jihad IS terrorism. It is to make war with the infidels for the sake of Islam and Allah. It is to force either submission or to kill. So the silly American is clueless.

You Think You Know About Jesus Christ? Let me introduce you to Him

The above video's sound isn't working right now, so try this (a slightly different version):

That's My King! The Seven Way King by Dr. S.M. Lockridge
Here is the Full Transcript:
My King was born King. The Bible says He's a Seven Way King. He's the King of the Jews - that's an Ethnic King. He's the King of Israel - that's a National King. He's the King of righteousness. He's the King of the ages. He's the King of Heaven. He's the King of glory. He's the King of kings and He is the Lord of lords. Now that's my King.
Well, I wonder if you know Him. Do you know Him? Don't try to mislead me. Do you know my King? David said the Heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork. My King is the only one of whom there are no means of measure that can define His limitless love. No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of the shore of His supplies. No barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing.
He's enduringly strong. He's entirely sincere. He's eternally steadfast. He's immortally graceful. He's imperially powerful. He's impartially merciful. That's my King. He's God's Son. He's the sinner's saviour. He's the centerpiece of civilization. He stands alone in Himself. He's honest. He's unique. He's unparalleled. He's unprecedented. He's supreme. He's pre-eminent. He's the grandest idea in literature. He's the highest personality in philosophy. He's the supreme problem in higher criticism. He's the fundamental doctrine of historic theology. He's the carnal necessity of spiritual religion. That's my King.
He's the miracle of the age. He's the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him. He's the only one able to supply all our needs simultaneously. He supplies strength for the weak. He's available for the tempted and the tried. He sympathizes and He saves. He's the Almighty God who guides and keeps all his people. He heals the sick. He cleanses the lepers. He forgives sinners. He discharged debtors. He delivers the captives. He defends the feeble. He blesses the young. He serves the unfortunate. He regards the aged. He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meek. That's my King.
Do you know Him? Well, my King is a King of knowledge. He's the wellspring of wisdom. He's the doorway of deliverance. He's the pathway of peace. He's the roadway of righteousness. He's the highway of holiness. He's the gateway of glory. He's the master of the mighty. He's the captain of the conquerors. He's the head of the heroes. He's the leader of the legislatures. He's the overseer of the overcomers. He's the governor of governors. He's the prince of princes. He's the King of kings and He's the Lord of lords. That's my King.
His office is manifold. His promise is sure. His light is matchless. His goodness is limitless. His mercy is everlasting. His love never changes. His Word is enough. His grace is sufficient. His reign is righteous. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. I wish I could describe Him to you... but He's indescribable. That's my King. He's incomprehensible, He's invincible, and He is irresistible.
I'm coming to tell you this, that the heavens of heavens can't contain Him, let alone some man explain Him. You can't get Him out of your mind. You can't get Him off of your hands. You can't outlive Him and you can't live without Him. The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him. Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him. The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree about Him. Herod couldn't kill Him. Death couldn't handle Him and the grave couldn't hold Him. That's my King.
He always has been and He always will be. I'm talking about the fact that He had no predecessor and He'll have no successor. There's nobody before Him and there'll be nobody after Him. You can't impeach Him and He's not going to resign. That's my King! That's my King!
Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory. Well, all the power belongs to my King. We're around here talking about black power and white power and green power, but in the end all that matters is God's power. Thine is the power. Yeah. And the glory. We try to get prestige and honor and glory for ourselves, but the glory is all His. Yes. Thine is the Kingdom and the power and glory, forever and ever and ever and ever. How long is that? Forever and ever and ever and ever... And when you get through with all of the ever's, then... Amen!

Oh Glorious Day!!

When friends betray us
When darkness seems to win
We know that pain reminds this heart
That this is not,
This is not our home
It's not our home

'Cause what if your blessings come through rain drops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise.....

What if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy
What if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest nights
Are your mercies in disguise

Rom 8:28  And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29  For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

"Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the LORD your God redeemed you from there!" Deuteronomy 24:18

Remember . . .
your sins--and Christ's pardoning;
your deserts--and Christ's merits;
your weakness--and Christ's strength;
your pride--and Christ's humility;
your many infirmities--and Christ's restorings;
your guilt--and Christ's new applications of His blood;
your failings--and Christ's assistance;
your needs--and Christ's fullness;
your temptations--and Christ's tenderness;
your vileness--and Christ's righteousness!

"Remember how the LORD your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years." Deuteronomy 8:2

UCSB Steals Sign and Assaults A Young Woman Who Is Pro-Life

Liberal professor (who teaches porn and name calls) steals someone else's material. UCSB is a public school, so it is an open campus. Plus this started on a "free speech" area on campus.

Bottom line: don't have open dialogue about abortion, and certainly don't show young women what abortion really is, much less have survivors of abortion (women) speak out. How is that tolerant?

I also find one of the professor's minions has a horrible mouth, too. Such language from an educated person?

This is the socializing that people think we homeschooler's need to subject our children to.
