US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas Says Hyper-Sensitivity Prevails Today Unlike In The 60's

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas spoke today at a college today, noting that today's society is far more race conscious than back in the 60's when he lived in the segregated South.

“My sadness is that we are probably today more race and difference-conscious than I was in the 1960s when I went to school. To my knowledge, I was the first black kid in Savannah, Georgia, to go to a white school. Rarely did the issue of race come up,” Thomas said during a chapel service hosted by the nondenominational Christian university. “Now, name a day it doesn't come up. Differences in race, differences in sex, somebody doesn't look at you right, somebody says something. Everybody is sensitive. If I had been as sensitive as that in the 1960s, I’d still be in Savannah. Every person in this room has endured a slight. Every person. Somebody has said something that has hurt their feelings or did something to them — left them out.
“That’s a part of the deal,” he added...
Throughout his career, Thomas said, he has experienced more instances of discrimination and poor treatment in the North than the South.
End quote.
I'm willing to bet that Dr. Walter Williams would concur.
We can thank Obama in large measure for this. As bad as it was with the hyper-sensitivity, it has worsened under Obama. After all, the great blasphemy is disagreeing with an Obama law ---it's considered racist, not moral nor political. It's quite unbelievable.
I would add that those who are hyper-sensitive are also quite often themselves slamming or insulting others. You know, the ones who judge others for judging. The anti-bully bullies. The tolerant liberals who are intolerant of conservatives or Christians. They are some of the most unhappy, angry people around. They just can't handle real life.
So they take a pill
Wonder how easy it will be to get those pills under ObamaStateCare.
