Ah the hypocrisy of the Left. These are the same folks who blather that the Conservatives have no right to tell them what to do with their bodies (abortion) or whom they can or cannot marry or what they can or can't do inside their homes (homosexuality). I guess its ok for them to take away our children and dictate how to raise them!
This is contrary to Scripture which says the children are the parents' responsibility. Communism says the children belong to the state.
Each person in a biblical worldview, is responsible for him/herself. The buck doesn't get passed on to the government. Its none of the government's business to try and do MY job as the parent of the children God has given my husband and me. Btw, our children actually belong to the LORD first. This is why Socialism/Communism stem from the LEFT; Liberalism. They want the Nanny State. They don't want the adult responsibility of training up a child to become a responsible, mature person and a good citizen who takes personal responsibility for his life instead of blaming everyone else and going to the government for help and "solving" life's problems.
The biggest proponents of "You aren't the boss of ME!!!" are the BIGGEST proponents of being the boss of EVERYONE.
Unless its them.
