I Won't Join The Scott Brown Celebration *Update*

Given that Scott Brown is pro-abortion and has a tainted past posing for Cosmo in the 80's, why are the Republicans celebrating his victory in MA last night? I saw an ad for him on WND "the change beings 10-19-10", to which I ask, WHAT change?

A Republican who wins in a thoroughly deep-seeded Democratic state is NOT a true Republican. It means he's a RINO. Brown is one of those.

So I won't join the celebration. Its more of the same junk. Principles are worth more than a few bucks back in my pocket.

***UPDATE***

Politico reports: quote:

Eight Republicans bucked their party in backing the repeal of the “don’t ask, don’t tell" policy, potentially risking a backlash from the conservative base while giving the historic vote a stronger bipartisan finish than many expected.

The Republican senators who voted yes on the repeal with the Democrats were Richard Burr of North Carolina, Mark Kirk of Illinois, John Ensign of Nevada, Scott Brown of Massachusetts, George Voinovich of Ohio, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, both of Maine...

Two of the Republicans — Brown and Snowe — are up for reelection in 2012.

“The vote speaks for itself,” Brown told POLITICO, before an aide added that he had explained his position in prior published statements.

End quote.

Folks that's why I said what I said a year ago. Brown wasn't a true Republican nor Conservative. No true Conservative/Republican wins in a liberal state. Why did you Repubs in MA vote for him?
