Rick Warren Lies About Supporting Prop 8

(Thanks to Slice of Laodicea for othe heads up on this latest development on Rick Warren.)

"However, just two weeks before the November 4 Prop. 8 vote, Pastor Warren issued a clear endorsement of the marriage amendment while speaking to church members. "We support Proposition 8 -- and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8," he said. " - Onenews report (link below)

Rick Warren is backpeddaling his support of Prop 8 which was to keep Traditional Marriage defined as one man married to one woman and place it into the California state constitution. It passed (as did Prop 22 years ago to define "marriage" in the same way), yet the minority liberals are fighting it tooth and nail. The transcript is here.

Rick Warren is proud of his acceptance by homosexuals and their community. Notice that he is more concerned with a health issue than a spiritual one. Utterly pathetic. A man can gain the whole world AND his health, but still lose his soul if he does not humbly repent of all his sin to the Lord Jesus Christ and seek His forgiveness and eternal life which can ONLY be found in HIM alone (Ps 73).

Onenews shows how Warren lied, as we all know he did, because he clearly supported Prop 8 and then tried to soft peddal it then, too, but not addressing homosexuality, but merely his own definition of what he though "marriage" should be.

Here is Warren playing the word game while still ok with homosexuality. He doesn't condemn sodomy at ALL. Note that he uses "love" a lot, but his definition of love can't be God's. True love hates evil and God hates homosexuality so much that He burned entire cities for it and other sexual immorality (Jude 7-8). Romans 1 makes HIS views very clear.

Warren is not interested nor convicted of what Jesus Christ says or what HE is concerned with. All Warren worries about his is own personal agenda. He's a wolf, folks. He's not even a hireling.

Remember, Warren doesn't consider Scripture as THE authority, but merely "an" authority. Go here for the quote and here for the interview (Caution! beliefnet is VERY liberal and inter-faith!). So why would anyone call him "Pastor" and why would anyone be surprised he doesn't stand for Scripture?

Go here for all the reasons why Warren is a wolf.
